eNRMC transition deadline extended to 31 March 2027
The Department has extended the eNRMC Transitional Arrangement from 31 December 2026 to 31 March 2027. Residential aged care homes using the arrangement should still prepare to move to an electronic prescribing system that meets conformance requirements before 1 April 2027. The extension changes the transition date; it does not verify a local product, authorise a prescriber, or relax medication-safety, privacy or access-control duties.
